David Corn talked about the video given to Mother Jones magazine of remarks by Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney that were captured on hidden camera video at a campaign fundraiser. Governor Romney said that “47 percent of the people” are “dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them.” Mr. Corn talked about the impact of and his role in the video, Governor Romney’s explanation for the comments on CNN, and other presidential campaign issues. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.

Mr. Corn wrote an e-book on the video, 47 Percent: Uncovering the Romney Video That Rocked the 2012 Election.
