Fordham Law School in New York City held a day-long conference focusing on the balance between government secrecy, transparency and public access to information. Panelists analyzed the implications of various national security leaks including military drone strikes, enhanced interrogation programs and WikiLeaks. This portion of the conference included remarks by security and legal officials including U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia Neil McBride, former U.S. District Court Judge for the District of Columbia James Robertson along with Kenneth Wainstein who served as the homeland security adviser under President George W.
