U.S. Representative Christopher Van Hollen, Jr., (D-MD), the ranking member of the House Committee on the Budget, talked about the “fiscal cliff,” the impending tax increases and budget cuts at the end of 2012 if Congress fails to reach a new budget agreement. He endorsed a Simpson-Bowles approach for the “grand bargain,” but refused to rule out going over the “fiscal cliff.” He was interviewed by Alan Murray.
