Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski talked about the steps his agency would take in the next few years to ensure the nation’s broadband infrastructure keeps pace with traffic and innovation. He discussed freeing up more spectrum for mobile broadband by reducing the number of over-the-air TV broadcast, a FCC initiated broadcast incentive auction process. He also called for more substantive engagement with America’s CEOs to address these issues. He was interviewed by Walt Mossberg. 

This was part of the fourth annual Washington Ideas Forum. held by The Atlantic, the Aspen Institute, and the Newseum in the Annenberg Theater. close
