A bipartisan group of senators spoke about U.S. policy towards Syria. They expressed support for the Obama administration’s latest warning to the Assad regime over the use of biological weapons. Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC) told reporters he would support a “use of force resolution” to prevent Syria’s government from using chemical or biological weapons on its own people. The previous day U.S. intelligence officials said the Syrian military had loaded the precursor chemicals for sarin, a deadly nerve gas, into aerial bombs. close
