Panelists talked about the state and future of social media. Jeff Jarvis in his remarks focused on threats to free speech in various countries around the world, such as China, Iran, and the United Kingdom. Amanda Palmer talked about experiences she had had with fans through her Twitter account. At the end of the program Ms. Palmer played ukulele and performed a song that came to be known as “The Ukelele Anthem” during her performances at “Occupy Wall Street” rallies.
