Cynthia Helms talked about her book, An Intriguing Life: A Memoir of War, Washington, and Marriage to an American Spymaster, in which she recounts her life. Ms. Helms who grew up in England and served in World War II, remembers her introduction to the world of secret intelligence via her husband, the internal politics of the CIA, and the couples time spent in Tehran as Richard Helms served as American ambassador prior to the Iranian Revolution. Cynthia Helms spoke at the British Embassy in Washington,D.C. and responded to questions from the audience. close
