Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) announced that he would not seek reelection in 2014. He said that after 50 years of public service in West Virginia, the end of the current term would be the right time to recalibrate and find a new balance with public service, family, and West Virginia. He reflected on his accomplishments as governor and senator and his agenda for the remaining two years of his term in Congress. He spoke at the Culture Center Great Hall in Charleston, West Virginia. close
