Representative Michael Burgess (R-TX) spoke about the state of national health policy. He was “wary” of the Affordable Care Act, the 2010 health care law, and its health care exchanges for the uninsured. He warned that looming congressional budget struggles and sequestration would affect health care and that the insurance exchanges would not be ready when scheduled.
“The Congressional Agenda” was part of the National Health Policy Conference held by AcademyHealth at the Grand Hyatt Washington. close
