Stuart Bowen talked about the costs of rebuilding Iraq, and he responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. According to his final report on reconstruction, the U.S. had spent approximately $60 billion supporting programs and projects since 2003. Mr. Bowen discussed how the money was spent, what had been accomplished, and reaction to U.S. efforts from key Iraqi and U.S. leadership.
