Jeffrey Frank talked about his book, Ike and Dick: Portrait of a Strange Political Marriage, in which he recounts the personal and working relationship between President Dwight Eisenhower and Vice President Richard Nixon. Mr. Frank reported that Nixon constantly sought Eisenhower’s approval while Eisenhower was unsure of Nixon’s ability to assume the presidency. Jeffrey Frank spoke with Tim Naftali, former director of the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum, at the Goethe-Instuit in Los Angeles. close
