Mental Health Care for Veterans

Last year, as part of the Honoring America s Veterans and Caring for Camp Lejeune Families Act, Congress passed legislation mandating regular training and assessment of Veterans Benefits Administration employees. This hearing will examine VA s progress in implementing this legislation by reviewing VA s plans for employee training, accountability and workload management and how they are improving disability claims processing.
