Panelists talked about geopolitical lessons learned from the Iraq War at a forum marking the 10th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. Among the topics they addressed were the decision to go to war, justifications for military actions following the invasion, and America’s position in the region as a result of the war. They also addressed U.S. policy toward Syria and Iran in light of the lessons learned in Iraq and Afghanistan. They responded to questions from the audience.
