General Andrew Goodpaster, former staff secretary and defense liaison officer to President Dwight D. Eisenhower, talked about the former president’s views of the military industrial complex, military spending, and working with Congress. After World War II, Goodpaster served with General Dwight D. Eisenhower at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe in the early 1950s.
