Amy Waters Yarsinske talked about her book, An American in the Basement: The Betrayal of Captain Scott Speicher and the Cover-up of His Death, the story of US Navy Captain Michael Scott Speicher, who was shot down on January 17, 1991, and was the first known casualty of the Gulf War. Ms. Yarsinske spoke about the secrets surrounding Captain Speicher’s death and the impact of a cover-up.
