Telephone lines were open for viewer comments on the agreement reached between the AFL-CIO and U.S. Chamber of Commerce on a guest worker visa program. The deal was part of the work being done by a bipartisan group of eight senators on a comprehensive immigration reform bill. New York Times congressional correspondent Ashley Parker spoke by phone about negotiations on the legislation, including what else is included in the bill, support for it in Congress, and its chances of passage. close
