Secretary of State John Kerry participated in a bilateral meeting with South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se in Washington to discuss North Korea. Following their meeting they spoke to reporters and answered questions about heightened rhetoric and threats made by North Korea. Secretary of State John Kerry said the rhetoric was “unacceptable” and the U.S. was “perfectly clear” that it would defend itself and its ally, South Korea. close
