President Obama spoke to reporters about the federal investigation of the bombings near the finish line of the Boston Marathon the previous day. He said the Federal Bureau of Investigation was treating the incident as an act of terror, but cautioned against assigning blame for the incident. He also extended sympathies to victims and praised citizens for their assistance in the aftermath of the explosions. close
