Elizabeth Sudduth talked about the Robert B. Ariail Collection of Historical Astronomy, a collection of historic astronomy books, documents and telescopes donated to the South Carolina State Museum and the Thomas Cooper Library at the University of South Carolina by astronomy collector and Columbia resident Robert B. Ariail.
C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2013 LCV Cities Tour” in Columbia, South Carolina on April 15-19 to feature the history and literary life of the community.
