New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly was interviewed by Campbell Brown at the New York Ideas 2013 forum. They talked about the 16 terrorist plots against New York City that had been thwarted since September 11, 2001, and the city’s measures to protect itself, including controversial measures like “stop and frisk” and spying on Muslims, plus their studies of Jihadization and the international posting of detectives.

“The New Normal: How Cities Tackle Terrorism” was a presentation of the 2nd Annual New York Ideas forum, held at the New York Historical Society, co-sponsored by Atlantic magazine and the Aspen Institute. close
