Representative Edward Markey (D-MA) and businessman and former Navy SEAL Gabriel Gomez (R) met for their third and final debate for the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Secretary of State John Kerry. The special election would be Tuesday, June 25, 2013. The debate covered a range of topics including taxes and withdrawing troops from Afghanistan. There were heated exchanges over term limits and transparency.

The debate sponsored by the Boston Media Consortium was held at the WGBH-TV studios in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston.
