Dick Costolo talked about Twitter, including ways the media can best use the technology as well as future enhancements. When asked about his company’s refusal to take part in the National Security Agency’s “PRISM” surveillance program, he said the company generally responds to specific data requests by the government but pushes back when the requests are too broad. He was interviewed by Cecilia Kang and also answered questions from audience members at the 2013 American Society of News Editors Convention luncheon at the Capital Hilton. close
