Walt Mossberg talked about his work in reviewing personal electronic technology, including the video content of the Wall Street Journal. He talked about the future of television content delivery shifting from broadcast and cable to the Internet, including service models like Netflix and Hulu, as besides “cord cutters” there was a growing population of younger consumers who would never have a cable subscription. He disagreed that a common conception of a “post-smartphone world” would be in the near future as the new “wearable technology” would still be connected to a smartphone that might be out of sight. Other topics included the necessity of spending time “unplugged.” close
