Ari Melber talked about MSNBC’s series “Presumed Guilty,” which focuses on inequalities in the criminal justice system, and he responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. Other topics included civil rights and voting rights act renewal. He also discussed Attorney General Eric Holder’s previous day speech at the American Bar Association conference in which he called for major changes in the federal criminal justice system, including doing away with some mandatory minimum sentencing policies for non-violent offenders.

C-SPAN Radio’s Nancy Calo read news headlines at the conclusion of the program. close
