Ben Casselman talked about the latest Labor Department Regional and State Employment and Unemployment Summary which showed uneven progress nationally in job growth. The report indicated a rise in the unemployment rate in 28 states and Washington, D.C; a decline in eight states; and no change in the remaining 14. He also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
