Walter Echo-Hawk talked about his book, In the Light of Justice: The Rise of Human Rights in Native America and the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, in which he discusses the U.S. government’s adoption of the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and discusses what needs to be done to implement it and create a more just society for Native Americans. He spoke at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. close
