Ellen Baumler, Interpretive Historian at the Montana Historical Society, talked about the discovery of gold in Helena, Montana, and visited the oldest surviving home in the state, a log cabin used during the city’s gold rush.
C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2013 LCV Cities Tour” in Helena, Montana, from October 7-11 to feature the history and literary life of the community.â€‚Working with the Charter Cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed. close
