Katrina Alcorn talked about her book, Maxed Out: American Moms on the Brink, in which she argues that while women are the main bread-winners in a majority of American families, the U.S. workplace is largely hostile to working mothers. As a married mother of three with a good job, Alcorn had a mental breakdown at age 37. Ms. Alcorn spoke at Kepler’s Books in Menlo Park, California. close
