President Obama announced a new government-wide effort to encourage foreign business investment in the United States. The president was introduced by Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker.
This was part of the first-ever SelectUSA 2013 Investment Summit, held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C., by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration. SelectUSA was a White House initiative to promote and facilitate investment in the United States. close
