Telephone lines were open for viewer comments about Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s threat to invoke the “nuclear option” in an effort to end Republican filibusters on the Obama administration’s judicial nominees. The "nuclear option"means changing the Senate filibuster rules so that executive branch nominations would move to confirmation by a simple majority vote.
