Dawne Dewey gave a tour of the Wright Brothers Collection, located inside Wright State University Libraries Special Collections and Archives, and talked about the technical and personal library, family papers, diaries, and other documents detailing the lives and work of Wilbur and Orville Wright and the Wright Family. Items included some of the photographs documenting the invention of the airplane and the lives of the Wright Family.
C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2013 LCV Cities Tour” in Dayton, Ohio, from November 18-21 to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Time Warner Cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed. close
