C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2013 LCV Cities Tour” in Dayton, Ohio, from November 18-21 to feature the history and literary life of the community. Alex Heckman visited the Wright Brother’s Aviation Center at Carillon Historical Park in Dayton, Ohio. He showed a replica of the Wright’s bicycle shop, original artifacts used by the brothers and the 1905 Wright Flyer III. This airplane, built by the Wright Brothers, is the first “practical” airplane.
