Kellogg, located about 36 miles southeast of Coeur d’Alene, was founded by prospector Noah Kellogg after he discovered galena in the area during the late 19th century. Soon after Kellogg’s discovery, the Bunker Hill Mining Company was formed. Until it closed in 1981, the Bunker Hill Mining Company was the largest employer for the city of Kellogg

Working with the Time Warner Cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed.
