President Obama spoke to students from around the country at a White House Youth Summit, emphasizing the importance of young people signing up for health insurance to sustain the health care system under the Affordable Care Act and asking them to “spread the word.” He talked about improvements to the HealthCare.gov Web site and the benefits of the Affordable Care Act. President Obama also suggested that having health insurance was part of being an adult and encouraged them to be as persistent in working for change as people were during the struggles for civil rights and equal rights for women. close
