Michael Deland spoke to reporters in the National Press Club on the environmental record of Democratic presidential candidate Governor Bill Clinton. He criticized Gov. Clinton’s record on the environment in Arkansas, and discussed a number of examples of environmental infractions committed in Arkansas during the term of Gov. Clinton. He went on to praise the environmental record of President George H.W. Bush, calling it unequalled since the days of President Teddy Roosevelt. close
