Hans Von Spakovsky talked about the fourth anniversary of the Supreme Court decision in Citizens United vs. Federal Election Commission. He also reacted to recent efforts in the House to update Voting Rights legislation. Mr. Von Spakovsky favors the decision and argued that it “restored the First Amendment political speech rights of Americans” and that federal laws prior to the verdict put the federal government “in the position of being a censor.”

C-SPAN Radio’s Nancy Calo read news headlines at the conclusion of the program. close
