President Obama signed the 1.1 trillion dollar spending bill to fund the federal government through the end of September 2014. Some of the audience members present for the bill signing were employees of the Office of Management and Budget who helped put together the bill. The compromise package passed by both houses of Congress during the week funds every agency of the federal government and scales back the automatic spending cuts imposed the previous year. close
