Family Research Council (FRC) President Tony Perkins talked about the conservative political agenda for 2014, the March for Life rally, and the president’s State of the Union address. He said the FRC’s goal was to “advance faith, family and freedom in public policy and the culture from a Christian worldview.” Mr. Perkins also urged social conservatives to stop giving money to national Republicans until the party clearly states opposition to gay marriage. Prior to this interview, Mr. Perkins had stated that Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Mike Lee (R-UT) had in effect become leaders of the Republican Party.
