Topics included protecting intellectual property, protecting privacy, and protecting consumers from data breaches. Mr. Houston also touched on how the revelations about the National Security Agency (NSA) telephone data programs had impacted perception of privacy. He said that 70 percent of his users were outside of America and users requesting their data be stored outside of America had the potential to turn into a huge problem. Mr. Houston was interviewed by House Judiciary Committee Chair Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), co-chair of the Congressional Internet Caucus, and he responded to questions from members of the audience.
