Sean Strub, founder of POZ magazine, talked about his his memoir, Body Counts: A Memoir of Politics, Sex, AIDS, and Survival, in which he discusses his life and his efforts to bring awareness to the AIDS epidemic during the 1980s. In 1990, Mr. Strub, who himself has lived with AIDS for over three decades, became the first openly gay, HIV positive person to run for Congress. This event was hosted by Books Inc. in San Francisco. close
