Madeline Bowne’s Driving Under the Influence (of Cell Phones) was one of the high school East Division second prize-winners in C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest. She was a 10th grader at Cherry Hill High School East in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme. In the 2014 contest, participants were asked, “What’s the most important issue Congress should consider in 2014?”
