Henry Craddock, Mackie Mallison, and Daniel Gotkowit’s Gun Control in America was one of the middle school section second prize-winners in C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest. The were eighth graders at Beverly Cleary Middle School in Portland, Oregon.
C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme. In the 2014 contest, participants were asked, “What’s the most important issue Congress should consider in 2014?”
