The finalists for 2013 were: Rick Atkinson, author of The Guns at Last Light; Allen Guelzo, author of Gettysburg; Roger Knight author of Britain Against Nepoleon; Peter Mansoor, author of Surge; Andrew Jackson O’Shaughnessy, author of The Men Who Lost America; and Richard Overy, author of The Bombing War This event was held at The New-York Historical Society. close
