Supreme Court reporters, former law clerks, and scholars talked about increasing transparency in the U.S. Supreme Court. They focused on ways the Court could modernize, including cameras in the courtroom, a bigger online presence, and more openness regarding justices' finances, health, public events, and periodic recusals.

This was part of an event called “Sunshine Week,” a national project to promote dialogue about the importance of open government and freedom of information. It was held at New York University’s D.C. campus.  close
