Panelists talked about ways to empower the disadvantaged in society and enact social change and equality. Speakers included journalist and author Maria Shriver, former professional basketball player David Robinson, disability rights activist Lex Frieden, and marketing executive Steve Stoute. The event was part of a summit marking the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 passed during the administration of President Johnson. The event was held at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library and Museum in Austin, Texas. close
