The League of Conservative Voters held a series of panels on the environmental records of the major presidential candidates and the relationship between the environment and the 1992 election during its third annual “Green Vote Conference.” Panelists speculated on how President Bush and Democratic presidential nominee Gov. Bill Clinton would deal with the environment if they won the 1992 election. The League also announced the release of a series of position papers concerning the environmental records of the candidates. Panel members responded to questions from members of the audience following their prepared remarks. close
