Attorney General Eric Holder testified on the Justice Department’s fiscal year 2015 budget request, which totaled $27.4 billion, including $25.3 billion for federal programs and $2.1 billion for state, local, and tribal assistance. He touted the successes of the Justice Department, including the conviction of Osama Bin Laden’s son-in-law Sulaiman Abu Ghaith. He also mentioned his department’s settlements with banks related to the mortgage process and a settlement with Toyota.   close
