Jennifer Lund talked about Brigham Young and his role in bringing the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Salt Lake City Utah. She explained Young’s relationship with founder Joseph Smith, Young’s leadership roles within the church, and how his views on religion and on polygamy developed over time.
C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2014 LCV Cities Tour” in Salt Lake City, Utah, from May 4-8 to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Comcast Cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed.
