Sheryll Cashin talked about her book, Place, Not Race: A New Vision of Opportunity in America, in which she argues that affirmative action policies in education do little to help the disadvantaged. Professor Cashin spoke at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies in Washington, DC. close
