Representative Joseph Kennedy III (D-MA) gave the commencement address to the 2014 University of Virginia Law School graduating class. He talked about equality, same-sex marriage, and the law.

At the end of the ceremony, Representative Kennedy was presented with the diploma of his great-uncle, former Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA). Senator Kennedy never picked up his diploma from the University of Virginia because in 1959 he was working on his brother John 's presidential campaign. close
